Samvel’s story.
Samvel Aleksanyan is 45 years old. For many years he has suffered from Bechterev's disease (spondyloarthritis) https://medex.am/health-topics/ankylosing-spondylitis) and as a result his mobility was very limited. The disease continued with intolerable chronic pain.
For years Samvel has been trying to get treatment, including surgery. Unfortunately, after unsuccessful and multiple surgeries to both hips, with failed implants, his health condition worsened and he became severely disabled.
At that point, Samvel applied to the AIP Scientific team for “Patient Specific Implant” (PSI), the only solution remaining for him.
This case is one of the most complicated in orthopaedic surgical practice. After long discussions and consulting top doctors in the field, we finally designed a unique customized implant for him.
AIP Scientific and the WIGMORE clinic team are trying to help Samvel by all possible means. Dr. Hayk Avagyan is waiving his surgeon fees. The WIGMORE clinic is discounting hospital fees. AIP TECH team charges only the cost of materials to 3-D print the implant. However, the cost of the necessary implants and hospital fees is over $10,000. If you could help him by contributing what you can, it would be a great support.
